What are UCC filings? |

UCC filings or ‘Uniform Commercial Code' filings are required whenever a company pledges
assets as collateral against a loan. Experian's business credit reports lists up to the
10 most recent UCC filings (original, amendments or terminations).
UCC filings may include one of the following types of collateral which have been pledged:
- Accounts
- Accounts receivable
- Contracts
- Hereafter acquired property
- Inventory
- Leases
- Notes receivable
- Proceeds
